In contrast, CD69+CD103+ CD4+ TRM cells only accounted for 2.2% of IFNγ- and 5.1% of IL-17A–expressing CD4+ T cells in control mice, 6.5% of IFNγ- and 3.9% of IL-17A–expressing CD4+ T cells in DSS-induced colitis, respectively. Here, CD4 is linked to colitis.
