EGFR and brain neoplasm: Interestingly, these events that had higher expression in recurrent samples than that in primary samples in 36 EPN patients (Figure 5D) showed interaction between NSC-like cells and Mic (see Supplementary Figures S8D, E), including the MK pathway that promoted brain tumor growth (32, 33) and the EGFR pathway that inhibited glioblastoma invasion via pharmacological inhibition of EGFR (35).
