Based on the results of the DTB of SKOV3 cells and the differences in JNK activity in late G1/S, early G2, and M phases, we hypothesized that CDK2 (during early G2 phase) and CDK1 (during early M phase) plays an essential role in regulating MLK3 and JNK activity in ovarian cancer cells. The gene discussed is MAP3K11; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
