In the multivariable logistic regression analyses, adjusted for age, sex, smoking status, CCI score, Hb level, eGFR and PSQI-K, HADS-A, HADS-D, and IPAQ scores, that were performed to determine the factors associated with low HRQOL as assessed by the SF-36 total score, depression scores (HADS-D) were associated with low HRQOL, independent of age, sex, smoking status, comorbidities (CCI score), eGFR, anemia, sleep quality (PSQI-K score), anxiety (HADS-A score), and physical activity level (IPAQ score); the OR (95% CI) per 1-score increment was 1.43 (1.17–1.75) (p < 0.001) (Table 3).
