Based on the annotations of cells, we found the major types of tumor-infiltrating immune cells, including B cells, T cells, CD4+ T cells, CD8+ T cells, dendritic cells, NK cells, monocytes, and progenitors, to be present in ESCC (Fig. 6B), with HPSE predominantly located on monocytes (Fig. 6C). The gene discussed is CD8A; the disease is esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
