In aortic aneurysms, relative information flow of signaling chemerin, FGF, complement, TWEAK, hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), TNF, CXCL, IFN-II, CCL, and SPP1 were elevated and signaling chemerin and complement were completely turned on, whereas the relative information flow of signaling galectin, insulin-like growth factor (IGF), colony-stimulating factor (CSF), PDGF, TGFb, EGF, MIF, and GAS were decreased and signaling (C-X3-C motif chemokine) CX3C, B-cell activating factor (BAFF), and angiopoietin-like protein (ANGPTL) were completely turned off in aortic aneurysms. This evidence concerns the gene CSF2 and aortic aneurysm.
