CD11c+CD1c−CD141− dermal iDC, including TNF-α and inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS)-producing DC (Tip-DC) and slanDC, have been identified in the dermis of psoriasis patients (41–43), and they seem to play a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of psoriasis (1). The gene discussed is NOS2; the disease is psoriasis.
