After adjusting the results of multivariable analysis for age, gender, platelet count, echo findings, and DM, the result demonstrated a statistically significant association of raised cTn-I (aOR = 8.2; [95% CI: 1.83–36.84]), echocardiographic abnormality (aOR = 2.24; [95% CI: 0.42–11.97]) and female gender (aOR = 2.82; [95% CI (0.68–11.67]) with increased in-hospital mortality as shown in Table 3. Here, TNNI3 is linked to diabetes mellitus.
