IL1B and epilepsy: Kamaşsk et al. found that IL-1β levels in the severe epilepsy group were higher than those in the control group or the mild epilepsy group (P < 0.05), and the level in the mild epilepsy group was higher than that in the control group (P < 0.05); in addition, the severe epilepsy group had higher IL-1R1 than the control group in the serum of children aged 4–17.
