In this study, the clinical data of 6,266 hospitalized patients with liver cirrhosis were analyzed, alcoholic liver disease, age, smoking status, drinking status, total bilirubin, neutrophil percentage, total hemoglobin, aspartate aminotransferase, serum sodium, albumin, lymphocyte percentage, serum creatinine, red blood cell, and white blood cell were all associated with HE, which was consistent with the results of previous studies (27–29). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and alcoholic liver diseases.
