CRP and delirium: A univariate comparison of the characteristics of patients with and without delirium showed older age, a prolonged hospital stay, lower oxygen saturation, higher C-reactive protein (CRP) value, lower lymphocyte count, and a range of treatment variables (use of steroids, antivirals/antibiotics and chloroquine/hydroxychloroquine) as factors that were significantly associated with a diagnosis of delirium (Table 2).
