We decided to explore serine/threonine protein phosphatase 2A regulatory subunit delta isoform (PPP2R5D) in the HCV life cycle, as it was hit only in D559G-NS5B pull-down and was previously reported to be involved in the development and regulation of HCC as well as multiple diseases and pathways [14–16]. This evidence concerns the gene PPP2R5D and hepatocellular carcinoma.
