Interestingly, treatment of keratinocytes with other Th2 cytokines, such as IL-33 and thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP), affected neither p62 accumulation nor LC3-II levels in the presence of E&P (Supplemental Figure 2, A and B) and did not affect the number of LC3-positive puncta in keratinocytes (Supplemental Figure 2F), implying that not all Th2 cytokines involved in AD pathogenesis play a role in the autophagy process in keratinocytes.
