Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), lacks the expression of estrogen receptor (ER) and progesterone-receptor (PgR) and amplification of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) gene, accounts for up to 20% of all breast cancers, and is associated with aggressive behavior and poor prognosis1.
