GSEA analysis of TCGA patient data indicates that adenosine interferes with pathways involved in NK cell activation, migration and cytotoxic activities in lung adenocarcinoma (Figure 1D, Figure 1—figure supplements 1–4), with inhibition of NK cell cytotoxicity showing the most significant negative correlation with CD73+ lung adenocarcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene NT5E and lung adenocarcinoma.
