In order to investigate the underlying mechanisms of the effects of GS-Rg1 on the growth of lung cancer cells, the A549 cell line was cotreated with GS-Rg1 and miR-126 inhibitor, which indicated that miR-126 inhibitor stopped the increased expression level of caspase 3 induced by GS-Rg1 in the A549 cell line (Figure 7(a), ∗P < 0.05) and H1650 cell line (Figure 7(b), ∗P < 0.05, ∗∗P < 0.01). This evidence concerns the gene CASP3 and lung cancer.
