TNFRSF11B and chronic kidney disease: In an attempt to tackle this deadly alliance of CKD, mineral and bone disease and CVD, our study was done to evaluate the relationship between the cardiovascular calcification and a myocardial injury biomarker, hs-cTnT, as representatives of cardiovascular burden in CKD and serum osteoprotegerin, an osteoclastogenesis inhibitory factor, which is involved in bone metabolism regulation as well as vascular disease, inflammation and apoptosis.
