ELISA assay results in Figures 7(a) and 7(b) and Figures 7(d) and 7(e), respectively, showed that the expression levels of IL-6 and TNF-α in lung tissues and in serum were significantly upregulated in LPS-induced sepsis mice, while in the SR9009 + LPS group, both IL-6 and TNF-α expression levels were decreased sharply, illustrating that SR9009 pretreatment could inhibit inflammation. The gene discussed is IL6; the disease is Sepsis.
