Her initial antiphospholipid antibody serology was negative but she developed a transiently positive anticardiolipin antibody, and a significantly elevated Beta-2-glycoprotein-1 antibody (>100 U/L) within the first 3 months; the latter persisted for several months before antiphospholipid syndrome was diagnosed.
