We highlight genes that may be important for SMAD7, LAMA5, GREM1-AS1, C11orf53, POU5F1B, DUSP10, COLCA1, and COLCA2. These results suggest that GWAS and TWAS are effective statistical methods to observe small- and large-effect genes correlated with CRC, providing a testable target for further functional validation of CRC, assisting in the knowledge of the molecular basis of the disease. The gene discussed is DUSP10; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
