The level of p-p38 protein in the hippocampus in I/R mice was initially increased and decreased later after cerebral ischemia/reperfusion at 1 d, 3 d, 5 d, and 7 d in the WT & I/R group (Figures 2(a) and 2(b)), and the level of p-p38 protein was significantly higher than in the sham group after 3 days of BCCAO and reperfusion (Figures 2(c) and 2(d), p < 0.05). The gene discussed is MAPK14; the disease is brain ischemia.
