The moderate score of knowledge about SGLT2 inhibitors can be explained by various factors including the insufficient courses about diabetes in pharmacy schools,26,27 and the inadequate continuous pharmaceutical education for the community pharmacists after graduation,28,29 particularly, a training program on the newly registered pharmaceutical products such as SGLT2 inhibitors.30 Taken together, the lack of knowledge about SGLT2 inhibitors might affect community pharmacists’ practice, which may lead to negative impact on patients’ outcomes.31,32.
