In our cohort, 6.7% of participants self-reported with a ZIKV infection, of which 37.9% were ZIKV seropositive, which is consistent with another study in Cabo Verde that estimated 43.8% of self-reported suspected cases were ZIKV positive from PCR, IgM or IgG assay assessments28.
