The above-mentioned studies demonstrated that it is safe to treat patients with an increased risk for bleeding with anticoagulation (warfarin studied in WOEST, rivaroxaban studied in PIONEER AF-PCI, dabigatran in RE-DUAL PCI, and edoxaban in ENTRUST-AF PCI) and P2Y12-inhibitor monotherapy. Here, P2RY12 is linked to atrial fibrillation.
