Our results show that (1) LMO2 interacts with JAKs, gp130, and LDB1 in the cytoplasm; (2) the cytoplasmic LMO2-LDB1-gp130-JAKs complexes are present in GSCs but not in non-GSCs; (3) this interaction increases STAT3 activity; and (4) LMO2 elevates ID1 levels via STAT3 signaling, which is crucial for tumor aggressiveness. The gene discussed is LMO2; the disease is neoplasm.
