NAPSA and carcinoma: Within the main histological subtypes of NSCLC, lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) was defined as carcinoma with an acinar/tubular structure or mucin production, positive for TTF-1 (NKX2-1) immunochemistry (IHC) and/or Napsin A, whereas lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC) was defined as carcinoma with keratinization or intercellular bridges with CK5/6, p40 and p63 positive.
