Univariate Cox proportional hazards analysis (Table 3) revealed that NF2 alteration/22q loss (hazard ratio [HR], 16.8; 95% confidence interval [CI], 2.1–137.0; p = 0.009) and MIB-1 LI > 4 (HR, 4.2; 95% CI, 1.05–16.9; p = 0.04) were significantly associated with tumor recurrence. This evidence concerns the gene NF2 and neoplasm.
