The study of Xiao and colleagues mentioned in Section 5.1 [103] also analyzed proteomic profiles of melanocytic (HEMa-LP) and melanoma (A375) sEVs and found differentially expressed proteins including upregulated proteins annexin A1, annexin A2, syntenin-1, and hyaluronan and proteoglycan link protein 1 (HAPLN1), which have functions related to angiogenesis, melanoma cell invasion, migration, and metastasis [131,132,133,134]. Here, HAPLN1 is linked to melanoma.
