Increased mRNA expressions of Ccl2, Tnf, and Nfkb2 in the liver were observed with the progression of NAFLD (Fig. 3A–I) (Ccl2, P = 0.028 in Nfkbizfl/fl; Tnf, P = 0.017 in Nfkbizfl/fl; Nfkb2, P = 0.025 in Nfkbizfl/fl). This evidence concerns the gene TNF and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease.
