The majority of those who died had severe thrombocytopenia (76.5%) (p = 0.003), deranged partial thromboplastin time (PTT) (70.6%), deranged prothrombin time (PT) (58.8%) and higher hematocrit concentrations >45% (47.1%) (Tables 5A,B). This evidence concerns the gene F2 and Thrombocytopenia.
