Similar to the study about Ruscogenin in blood-brain barrier dysfunction [23], our research viewed that Ruscogenin repressed P2X7R, NLRP3, caspase 1, and IL-1β expression in SS mice models in a dose-dependent manner, which implicated that the protective effect of Ruscogenin against SS might be associated with NLRP3 inflammasome.
