Conclusively, our study showed evidence that EVs secreted by high-metastatic cervical cancer cells transmitted miR-146a-5p into low-metastatic cervical cancer cells, which activated the WWC2-mediated Hippo-YAP signaling pathway and altered the dynamics of F-actin/G-actin, finally leading to cancer metastasis (Figure 7).
