LATS1 and urinary bladder carcinoma: LATS1 mutations were also strongly associated with improved survival in all patients (Fig. 8A) and were observed with similar frequency in several cancers including bladder cancer, colorectal cancer, cancers of unknown primary, esophagogastric cancer, melanoma, and others (Fig. 8B), though LATS1 mutations were only associated with improved survival in bladder cancer and colorectal cancer patients (Figs. 8C and S5A).
