After adjusting for age, sex (male), diabetes mellitus, coronary artery disease, hypertension, hemoglobin, triglyceride, cholesterol, and albumin levels, and the GCS scores, the MLR and the NLR at admission were associated with increased in-hospital mortality risk, with ORs of 3.13 (95% CI, 1.08, 9.04) and 1.067 (95% CI, 1.00, 1.14), respectively.
