The results showed that miR-887-3p mimics could significantly increase the mRNA and protein levels of P53 (Figure 6(a), 6(b), P < 0.05), suggesting that miR-887-3p directly targeted the 3′ UTR of DNMT1 and promoted P53 expression, further inhibiting CRC cell initiation and development.
