Given the accumulating evidences that tumorigenesis and cancer progression may be driven by perturbations in metabolic processes (20, 21), we further detected the effect of aberrant OGA and OGT expression, important glycometabolism-related genes, after KU60019 treatment on the malignant and metastatic behaviors (proliferation and migration) of SKOV3 cells. The gene discussed is OGA; the disease is cancer.
