Although we did not find any significant association between the expression of METTL3 and the clinical parameters of the patients (Table 1), the COX model analysis results showed that the expression of METTL3 could be used as an important and independent prognostic risk factor for ccRCC patients (HR = 4.071, P = 0.003, 95% CI 1.624 ~ 10.208, Table 2). Here, METTL3 is linked to nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
