JAK2 and cancer: Thus, while the inhibition of the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway has been proposed to offer therapeutic avenues for several types of cancer such as osteosarcoma31, gastric cancer32, ovarian cancers33, colon cancer34 as well as cholangiocarcinoma35, our findings suggest that JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway may also be a good target for the therapeutic strategies applied to CCA.
