Another study comprising 9,012 men diagnosed with different cancers showed a rate of 0.54% (49/9012) of HOXB13 G84E mutation carriers, of whom 1.4% (19/1362) were positive for prostate cancer compared with 0.4%(23/5,898) of HOXB13 G84E mutation carriers without prostate cancer (p < 0.05) (214).
