Immunohistochemical staining for pancytokeratin was strongly positive (magnification ×100; Figure 5(e)); E-cadherin expression was positive, with a membranous staining pattern (Figure 5(f)); P63 was completely negative, which indicated loss of the myoepithelial layer and confirmed the invasive nature of the tumor (Figure 5(g)); estrogen receptor (ER) exhibited intermediate to strong nuclear positivity in >90% of tumor cells (Figure 5(h)).
