Furthermore, γδ T-cells bearing a CD19-CAR, unlike standard CD19-αβ CAR-T-cells, had reactivity against CD19-positive and negative tumor cells in vitro and in vivo, an effect that was enhanced by ZOL (78), suggesting that CD19-directed γδ CAR-T-cells may target leukemic cells also after antigen loss and retain pAg specificity via their TCR.
