By comparing the diagnostic efficacy of serum TNF-α and TSH levels and the positive rate of p185 protein in breast cancer patients, it was found that serum TNF-α was the best, followed by p185 and TSH, and the subsided area of the ROC curve of the patients with the combined detection was larger than that of the single detection (the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05)), as shown in Table 3 and Figure 1. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and breast carcinoma.
