Recent studies have found that MCM3AP-AS1 is aberrantly expressed in a variety of human cancers and usually predicts poor prognosis in several cancers, including breast cancer [15], colorectal cancer (CRC) [16], endometrioid carcinoma (EC) [17], hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) [18], lung cancer (LC) [19], nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) [20], oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) [21], pancreatic cancer (PC) [22], prostate cancer (PCa) [23], and renal cell carcinoma (RCC) [24]. The gene discussed is MCM3AP; the disease is breast cancer.
