TLE5 and cystic fibrosis: In P. aeruginosa, the production of Tle5 and ExoU is correlated with a high risk of exacerbations in non-CF patients (Boulant et al., 2018; Luo et al., 2019) and with acute pulmonary infection, septicemia and, in a lesser extent, UTIs (Boulant et al., 2018).
