It was suggested that the SYNTAX score was positively correlated with the expression level of IL-6 in patients with T2DM complicated with CHD (r = 0.778, P < 0.001), as well as the expression of CRP (r = 0.756, P < 0.001), and of sCD40L (r = 0.748, P < 0.001), confirming that inflammatory factors CRP, IL-6, and sCD40L are involved in the development of T2DM complicated with CHD. Here, CRP is linked to coronary artery disorder.
