CRP and bacterial infectious disease with sepsis: Among the biomarkers, ROC curve analysis revealed that the highest performance for predicting bacteremia was procalcitonin (AUC 0.80; 95% CI: 0.72–0.88), followed by presepsin (AUC 0.69; 95% CI 0.60–0.79), and CRP (AUC: 0.60; 95% CI 0.49–0.70; Fig. 2).
