Using mCherry-Br stained with eFluor, we confirmed by flow cytometry (S7B Fig) and confocal microscopy (Fig 9) that the higher susceptibility of IL-17RA-/- mice and asthmatic mice was correlated to a higher frequency of mCherryhigh AMs at 48 hours post-infection, compared to wild-type mice. Here, IL17RA is linked to infection.
