TNF and uveitis: Golimumab (SimponiR), a fully human anti-TNF-a monoclonal antibody, is administeredmonthly (50 mg) as a subcutaneous injection[47] and has been studied in uveitis associated withspondyloarthropathies,[48,49] BD,[50,51] andother NIUs.[52,53] The GO-EASY study looked at patients treated withGolimumab for AS-related uveitis and noted a reduction in acute anterior uveitisrate.[49]
