On univariate Kaplan–Meier analysis, FIGO stage, tumor diameter, lymph node metastasis, vascular invasion, CHI3L1, and MVD of CSCC were related to the prognosis of PFS and OS (all P < 0.05); however, CHI3L1 and MVD were not independent prognostic factors. This evidence concerns the gene CHI3L1 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
