This meta‐analysis of the association between HLA‐G 3′UTR polymorphisms and sHLA‐G expression with gynecological cancers revealed (i) a significant association of HLA‐G +3142 C/G with reduced susceptibility to cervical pathologies and (ii) high sHLA‐G levels in patients with gynecological cancers, which support an important role for HLA‐G polymorphisms and sHLA‐G expression in the pathogenesis of gynecological cancers. Here, HLA-G is linked to female reproductive organ cancer.
